- Panel discussion and Q&A
In 2020, COVID-19 changed the way we work and live - medical research institutes are no exception. We’ve shifted our work and education into our homes, research has been halted and delayed and maintaining connections has been tough. Since March, MRIs have been modifying operations on-site and supporting their workforce off-site while maintaining strict compliance with constantly changing government restrictions. The impact on staff and students at MRIs has varied widely depending on the type of work or research, where the institute is located and whether home circumstances are easily amenable to working at home.
But has all of it been bad?
In this session, the four panel members will share their institute’s journey through the year, exploring what has worked well and what hasn’t, what staff have liked and not liked and what changes could benefit institute staff and students in the longer term.
